Sourcing & Questions
How we source.
Every bottle in the archive is bought directly from the house or from its authorised distributor, and arrives sealed and authenticated.
- Where do your fragrances come from?
- We buy directly from the house or from its authorised distributor for Mexico — never from grey-market resellers, marketplaces or liquidation lots. Every bottle arrives sealed, with its batch code intact.
- How do you know they're authentic?
- Every shipment is checked against the house's own packaging spec before anything is listed: batch code and cellophane, cap fit and sprayer, label registration, and the weight of the glass. Anything that doesn't match does not enter the archive.
- Are these “dupes”?
- No. A dupe implies a counterfeit, and these houses put their own names on the bottle. Some of their fragrances do share DNA with famous compositions — which is legal, common and worth understanding rather than hiding. Read: Shared DNA
- Why are the prices so much lower than the fragrances they're compared to?
- Because you are not paying for a designer licence, a celebrity face or a Paris flagship. Gulf houses manufacture at scale, market by word of mouth, and put a larger share of the price into the juice itself.
- Are the bottles full size?
- Yes. Everything in the archive is a full-size bottle. We are not running decants or sample programmes.
- When can I buy?
- The five houses are confirmed and their pages are live. Pricing in MXN is being finalised with each house now — leave your email and you'll know the day bottles open.
- Shipping, exchanges and returns
- Shipping across Mexico, priced in MXN. Final delivery windows and return terms are published here before the first order ships.
